The Pleiades

So. I'm having my own little Sailor Moon marathon yay!
and I was totally browsing around the internet and found

's Otaku Senshi generator.. so I thought I'd play around with it. xD (it's really fun! haha.. or maybe i'm just an uber geek)

anywho.
So the story behind the pleiades aka: The Seven Sisters.
the Pleiades (Messier object 45) are an open star cluster in the constellation of Taurus.

as for my Senshi creations. :3 I based them off of the Greek histories behind their names.

From left to right:

Name:Maia
Meaning: mother, nurse, 'the great one'
Age: 20
Color: purple
Technique: Healing Protection (she can cast it, and protect the entire group for a period of time)
Likes: caring for people, reading
Dislikes: anyone who tries to harm her sisters.

Name: Elektra
Meaning: shining, bright
Age: 18
Color: yellow
Technique: Static Shock (creates a wave of electricty)
Likes: bright colors, excitement
Dislikes: silence

Name: Celaeno
Meaning: swarthy (in mythology, she was said to be married to Poseidon)
Age: 18
Color: Aquamarine
Technique: Crashing Waves (attacks the enemy with a wall of water from all sides)
Likes: swimming
Dislikes: stormy days

Name: Taygete
Meaning: long-necked (in myth, she was disguised as a deer by Artemis to hide from an angry Zeus)
Age: 17
Color: Brown / Forest Green
Technique: Leaf Cutter (a barrage of leaves)
Likes: being outdoors
Dislikes: having to be indoors for too long

Name: Sterope
Meaning:sun-face
Age: 18
Color: Red-orange
Technique: Solar Flare (a burst of fire that surrounds the enemy)
Likes: summer
Dislikes: large bodies of water

Name: Merope
Meaning: eloquent
Age: 19
Color: Deep blue
Technique: Silent Mist (she creates a thick fog to decrease visibility, she is also blind and one of the strongest of the senshi)
Likes: music
Dislikes: rude people

Name: Halcyone
Meaning: queen who wards off evil (storms)
Age: 19
Color: Teal
Technique: Tempest Winds (strong storm winds that gust towards the enemy)
Likes: dancing
Dislikes: sports
